One of the things that surprised me about this bloggy break were the comments about the lack of grocery posts. Which, I have to admit, surprised me. Granted, *I* like seeing how I'm doing budget-wise, and posting here helps keep me honest, but I never really thought anybody else liked reading about them either.
This week I had the good Albertson's coupon, as well as a $2/$5 worth of produce from Food Lion to help me out.
In a bit of an aside, a mistake in the beverages I bought one week inadvertently resulted in my going caffeinated-beverage free. I would say entirely caffeine-free, but I love chocolate a little too much for that! I mention this because the Dr. Pepper we bought this week is, believe it or not, a bit out of character. But I can't resist the BOGO or cherry-flavored, so we're going to try it out.
So, here's the breakdown:
